How I got here…

12 yrs old: Joined middle school orchestra. Played my first note (“D”) and fell in love with music.
13 yrs old: Got my first guitar. Started a band with my friends.
15 yrs old: Started recording songs in my bedroom.
18 yrs old: Went to music school to get serious about guitar.
19 yrs old: Started teaching guitar to other students.
22 yrs old: Started a wedding and event band. Gigged professionally.
24 yrs old: Opened my first teaching studio in my spare bedroom.
26 yrs old: Teaching became my full-time career—60-80 students per week, ages 9-92.
29 yrs old: Opened a recording studio to help students record music.
33 yrs old: Started Guitar Gym Pro to help more people play guitar than I could in private lessons.
35 yrs old: Lost my left pinky finger—forcing me to completely rethink how I play.
36 yrs old: Started my left-handed guitar journey, documenting every step so students can learn with me from beginner to pro.

Today:
