Tbh, Alphys was weirdly calm considering Mettaton was 'an unstoppable killing machine with a taste for human blood'

I mean, the poor girl's seen monsters melt, but still, you'd think she'd be trying a bit harder to stop him if she actually thought Frisk was in danger. 😋

Edit, to clarify:

We learn that Mettaton was set up by Alphys when he tells us later, but until then, Alphys doesn't exactly play her part.

My point is, if she was trying to sell that Mettaton was the enemy, she should've been trying harder to 'stop' him, rather than letting the player find out that they weren't in any actual danger. 🤭
