Michigan State Police officer hurt in crash on I-75 to be taken off life support

A Michigan State Police officer who was injured in a crash on northbound I-75 in Lincoln Park is going to be taken off life support, according to police.
The crash happened at around 8:40 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, on northbound I-75 near Dix in Lincoln Park.

"The trooper was up and talking this morning" according to a news report from this station Friday afternoon. Then Monday norning "he spent the weekend on life support". How'd he go from up and talking to being on life support all weekend?

It sorta seemed like this was a possibility Friday the way the statement came out or rather the press guy said he wasn't gonna be the one giving a statement, I sorta felt like he was alive but issues were present, Sucks, a lot of people lost their lives in accidents the last week.

I live right next to a School in a small village in Michiganistan and I routinely see Teachers, Admin Staff, Board Members, Parents AND worse of all STUDENTS GLUED to their phones while they're leaving the PARKING LOT!! The State needs to do a State wide BLITZ pulling People over and ticketing them for cell phone use, as well as the habitual speeders, and just ones that shouldn't even be driving...ticket and fine them HARD...pain is an excellent Teacher...when I was a young driver I got pulled over for speeding, ticketed and fined...my Parents made me pay that ticket AND the difference their insurance went up EACH MONTH!! Guess who NEVER sped again!!
