Back in 2005, when Kim Kardashian was still best known for carrying Paris Hilton’s shopping bags, a world-first ‘Plastizine’ (DVD magazine, for the uninitiated) began cropping up all around Australia – it was called PEDESTRIAN.TV.
Since its ever-so-humble beginnings, Pedestrian Group has become a powerhouse in the Australian media landscape, taking home Media Brand Of The Year at the Mumbrella Awards for two consecutive years (2015 + 2016).
Our 24/7 home, PEDESTRIAN.TV, cops an average 7 million page views per month – plus the millions of young Aussies we reach every across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and our daily EDM. From news, entertainment, music, style, sport, health, dating, travel, money, tech, gaming and more, we touch on every aspect of our readers’ lives and interests.

Agree with Reggie. But there's one thing I thought of when he spoke about being sexy: Prince. Oh wait, I also forgot other pop artists can't match a single toe of his.

Reggie Watts is a living example that art and creativity can still entertain people. The people he listed are examples of way less creativity and way more cash flow and advertising.

Damn right. Fucking reggie watts, the one interview where he's not doing his goofy dada style thing, and he says some downright scathing real ass observations. I know some of those songwriters personally. In fact i met beyonce's producer and did photography for him, and a good friend of mine ghostwrites a lot of lyrics and he knows a lot of studio engineers people who are involved with that aspect. It is a processed hunk of spam. Literally, that is the equivalent, you find an artist who is brilliant with a voice and style of their own, a diamond in the rough, you can record it on bad tape in a DIY setting and still get amazing results, even an unpolished diamond sparkles but you can't polish a turd, so they process it through a billion filters, blend everything they can find that sells into a homogenous shameless attempt at pandering to the lowest common denominator, and pump it full of artificial additives to flavor it up with the flavor of the week to make it more appealing to consumers. People think its all subjective, right? To each their own kind of music, but its not, because that shit crosses the line from music sold as a product to a product sold as music, and when art is produced in that context it becomes hollow, and unoriginal.

He's right. I turned SNL on 4 some reason a year or so ago & Taylor Swift was at a piano & the song should've been titled: "Hey, I Got A Piano For My Birthday!" It's nice that little girls w/broken hearts get something from her lyrics, but when brilliant, mature writers & players are waiting tables & these formulated Popsters rake in millions & are heralded as our greatest musical artists? That's lame! Come @ me

One mans opinion. Not wrong or right just his opinion. Reggie it is your opinion that Taylor's songs are terrible, but not a fact I am sorry to inform you. I am not saying they are masterpieces, but not every song has to have a deep meaning to it and carry some life changing message. They just have to speak to the listener and make them relate it to something in their own lives if a song does that then it is a good song. On the other hand they can just be FUN.

Are you on the back side of Pike Place? Or Kingstreet Station?

This is a kind soul being ruthlessly honest and I love it. Love Reggie but was surprised about the comment about her attire. Not a fan of her but wearing what you want isnt anti-feminism. In that industry and really in the world though it is true that she may only think she wants to wear those low-cut and revealing clothes. Whatever makes you happy. Didn't hear anything about the Lumineers lol

I'm not sure where the character "Reggie Watts" ends and Reggie Watts begins.

Cool video. Thanks for sharing. I just came across an up & coming musician similar to this that's worth checking out... Mikey Wax... YouTube his song "Helium". Really good stuff.

Basically something Kanye would say if he were smart.

being a feminist doesn't have anything to do with what you are wearing....wyd

Meh I don't care what Beyonce has to say...I'm sick of hearing what celebrities think, a heap of them are un-educated and have wack ideas, so if they just wanna drop a track and hide behind their marketing teams then more power to them, perhaps if they lent their star power to help shine a light on things we should really be concerned about, for example when Angelina Jolie appears at the U.N. over the Syria refugee crisis, then I'd care about a celebs opinion, but most of them need to shut up. I also gotta give props to Courtney, a woman can be a feminist and wear whatever she wants dude, the fact you think she should change the way she dresses for you to take her seriously is just one example of why feminism is important.

funny how REggie has always struck me as one of these same corporate figures. Like Jash. That is like the epitome of corporate funded comedy.

being a feminist has absolutely NOTHING to do with not wearing short shorts. In fact, one of the main ideas of feminism is that women are constantly ostracised or ridiculed for being proud of their sexuality or even just talking about sexual things, whilst men do it constantly and society seems to think it is absolutely okay. The point is: if men can do it, why can't women? Beyonce has every single right to wear whatever she wants - as far as I'm concerned she could go out wearing a thong and nipple tape and it would be no one's business - and that doesn't make her any less of a feminist.
