A few days ago I posted a video showing officers from the Idaho Falls, Idaho Police Department entering a family's home and forcing them outside. When the homeowner, who was filming, demanded a warrant, the officer claimed that he didn't need a warrant. The problem is, they did in fact need a warrant, as I explained in the prior video. The local TV news in Idaho picked up the video and reported on it, prompting the Idaho Falls Police Department to issue a statement.

Why is it so easy for our rights to be violated, yet so hard to get justice for the violations of those rights?

Don't need a warrant, the cop says, but stops at the door. That's proof he knew he was violating rights.

Thank you for exposing these corrupt police officers

They also violated a residents first amendment rights when they grabbed his camera to stop him from recording in his own home. The Supreme Court has ruled recording the police is a first amendment protected activity. He had the right to record them breaking into his home, and physically stopping him from recording was also a separate civil rights violation.

"You're a safety issue"... Translation in his own words "You're bothering me, now you are no longer safe". Alarming.

Looks like assault, breaking and entering, and illegal imprisonment by the officers. Send them to jail immediately.

"Do you want me to arrest you in front of your kids?"

TRANSLATED: "I have the option not to traumatize your children, but I will gladly traumatize your children if you don't comply."

No decent human would threaten trauma upon an innocent child as a weapon of retaliation. That cop is a psychopath.

“You’re bothering me, come here.”
To a man in his own home. Unbelievable. We need more accountability. Glad to see YouTube channels like this one actually protecting America.

It’s unbelievable how many cops can’t just be calm and think rationally.

The cops also seized and cuffed the homeowner to retaliate and to also stop him from recording their actions.

When the officer drew, then holstered his weapon, without there being any change in the situation, he proved that there were no exigent circumstances that justified entering the home.

These cops need prison, not lawsuits. They don't pay lawsuits themselves, and they don't learn anything from lawsuits. Maybe they'll learn something from prison.

And/or 2a. Whichever.

When the police double down on protecting the actions of a few bad apples, it would seem reasonable to believe the whole apple tree is rotten to the core

Most telling part is when the cop says, "Come here. You're bothering me. Come here. You're a safety issue now." He retaliated against him for standing up for his rights.

The dangerous one is the pig drawing his gun with children in the room

Why do I have to know laws, but cops don't?

The chief said "we can do whatever we want according to the law but I don't have time to prove it or go into detail just trust us we are always right after all"
