I’m from Ukraine and, of course, I was deeply shocked and terrified, when it all had started. I was trying to watch much more series for getting distracted and keeping my sanity. But neither of the shows helped me with this, I couldn’t watch them like did it before, because this situation is too scary and significant. Once I saw on the news this speech by Brian Cox, which gave me so much emotions. So, consequently, I started to watch Succession as a tribute to this speech. And it was unbelievable. This show is brilliant. It helped me to distract during this war like nothing else. Roy’s life was so interesting, that I could even forget what’s happening outside in real life. And now this speech turns for me much more important. Of course, people from our country need to be very attentive and careful, but it’s also great to be able to distract and keep calm, and watching series is one of the best variants. We all believe, that the war will be over soon! While there are such spectacular pieces of art, we haven’t causes to worry about our future! Art doesn’t only units people from different part of world, it also can help during the most horrible times! Thank you all for support, people from Ukraine see it and appreciate it so much!!!
