I just got into musical theater a few weeks ago and got ecstatic when I was able to get a few references (specially the ones related to A chorus line, a musical that I absolutely LOVED)

Not Nancy, but her husband, Dave. In 55+ years of theatre going, this is one of the most energetic and spectacular numbers I have ever seen. The use of the snippets of the the other shows just makes it so much fun. How this show did not win the Tony Award as best musical (the incredibly depressing Fun Home won that year), I will never understand.
