mine will flash open cmd when I run the .bat file, but then closes immediately; no error message or anything

My jar file only says JAR File (.jar), it doesnt say executable. How can i make it executable?

i have a problem my freinds gaved me minecraft mod it needed java but idk why its exe file but i need to run it with java there is no jar file so there is error jarfile not found..
