I think one thing that will always get me about this track isn't just how peaceful, hopeful, and joyous it is... But the bagpipes. Nowhere does Ishgard use bagpipes in its themes. You know where you do hear them tho? Dravania.

Sprout here! As soon as I walked into the Firmament I ran in circles because gawd the music is so good. 😭 After crying sad tears on the MSQ I was presented with some happy tears ray of hope music! Same melody, different feelings!
Now gotta level my crafters and gatherers.

For some reason the ending part of this song before it loops always reminds me of Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles". Probably the poppiest song in Ishgard.

Final Fantasy XIV as a whole is a musical triumph all around. But there is something special about this song. I recently came back to the game after a couple years off. It's been a pleasure to simply sit and craft in the Firmament for hours, primarily because this is playing in the background. It is just gorgeous... an absolute joy to listen to. Thanks for uploading this, and thanks to the developers and composers for this masterpiece.

i love this song so much, my favorite so far in ffxiv, and that's a lot to say, the game is filled with amazing music, but this wins #1 on my list.

Balmung were the first from NA to complete the New Nest on 4 April at a little past 11 p.m. ET. Gilgamesh is expected to finish second, with Cactuar coming in third.

Thank you very much for uploading this. Ours in Atomos has just been recently finished and when I heard this it instantly felt that peace has returned to Ishgard.
