How much regret did I have doing this? How much fun did I have doing this? WIll I do it again? Let's go through my packs and pulls and I'll let you know that and more!
Thanks for watching!

There is this guy on YouTube I watch that says if you are buying games to flip them you are doing something wrong, I just wish I could remember what channel that was. :)

Is this your first TCG? I see you opening a $50+ Boba, $35 Luke, $20 Avenger, a couple $10-$15 cards. In 5 cards you paid for a box. Most TCGs you need a few rares/Legendaries per deck. A vast majority of the deck is uncommon and commons. Buying boxes is more about building up those common and uncommon collection to make decks. In most TCGs you buy your rares/legendaries as singles.

So you need to be looking at the leader slot, last common slot, the last uncommon slot, the rare slot, and the foil slot. Your last uncommon slot can be hyperspace and also uncommon/rare/legendary. I saw you toss at least 2 rares in your common uncommon pile because you were not looking at all the right slots.

The last 3 cards in the pack can upgrade to Legendary and the leader slot can upgrade to Showcase.

Disclaimer! Now having played the game more and looked back on things, I feel a lot better about where things stand more than a week after filming this.

I've got a few boxes sitting next to me. I like to open 1 pack everyday. Makes the box last almost a month and everyday something to look forward to.

I think my pattern will be 1 Starter for each set plus 2 booster boxes. From there I will buy singles to get: A hyperspace version of each leader, a hyperspace version of each (non-rare) base, any legendary or rares I need for decks (as well as any rares or legendaries that are dirt cheap as they may be useful in the future and see an increase in value). I'll sell any Showcase Leaders I get, bt will hold them for a bit first if the value is not high yet - some of these leaders will have changing values as new sets are released.

So, you can sell all your Rare/Leg cards and break even on 2 boxes and you're disappointed? 😑 That leaves you with a slew of Uncommon/Commons that you made out on for free. And for the record, Showcase cards are 1 in 12 BOXES. You opened 2. With that said, I also got super unlucky and did not get a showcase card in the 1 box I opened. I will never spent another penny on this terrible game 😛 You are not as unlucky as you think you are. You are just pessimistic. You gotta lighten up on yourself! And open these with the mindset of enjoying the game and not so much the collector part, which is rarely a winning proposition. I think you should sell any high cost hyperspace and/or foil to get an equivalent standard-version. Or just use the money to buy another box (or to buy the cards you want for actual play). Most of us are not collectors, we play to have fun. I think that's you as well. So, recoup that cost and get into the cards/decks you want to have fun playing with! You'll also have less regret when your little one bends your cards 😶‍🌫

Thanks for the vidéo. You really should get infos on the cards cause Boba unit is one of the most expensive card on the market right now.

I like card games but don't like the money aspect of TCG. I wanted to try the game and it's pretty good so I'm just getting full playset of the commons and uncommons for cheap on ebay and that's that. Screw gambling for rares and legendaries. Decks won't be as good but it's just for casual play.

On no, the Anti FOMO advocate has fallen to the Dark Side of the FOMO. Hope you get cards you can play and enough high money cards you can sell to recoup some of the expense.

Excited to see what you get. I hear the Pre-Release kits are 🔥, but will be interesting to see if it’s true.

You just pulled a Legendary Boba Fett and that didn’t make you happy? I dunno man, that’s a pretty whack take. Love the channel though!

You need some glasses. You mixed uncommons and legendary alot.

The rarity symbols can be hard to read, so I think they will end up changing the way the rarity symbols look in the future. I also didn’t see them when I first started opening the cards.

Has stationfall gone up in your top 10 2023 list? I’m about to play that game soon!

You're skipping over hyperspace cards which are worth more and sometimes can be rare

Horrible luck to not get a showcase in the equivalent of 2.5 booster boxes that you opened, when they are estimated to be 1 showcase per every 12 booster boxes... ooook. Your comments during the "Biggest truth section" are quite revealing - if this is the attitude going into such an opening, then I certainly would recommend avoiding this and similar games like the plague. Reality is you had fantastic pulls that could pay for everything you opened while leaving you with a ton of great fun to be had with the remaining cards. Even just the C/U cards in this game can make for great fun with a wide variety of decks. But seems like you weren't going to be happy at all unless you 'lucked' into beating very bad odds to get a showcase. :(
