Snowrunner save game editor | Add money + XP + upgrades | 2022

I've always hated how less rewarding Snowrunner missions are and here's how you can add money or xp or unlock any/all upgrades in Snowrunner PC in less than 5 minutes to make this game feel more rewarding and less frustrating. Make sure to create a backup before editing the save files. I'm not asking you to cheat in this game but I'm telling you that it is ok to cheat in this game. For me, this game is all about experience and I'm sure the devs won't mind this either.

*Important* - I hope you see this before doing anything with your save file... The part where I explained editing the save file for upgrades making 0-2 is a very risky process and you should do it very cautiously and should ignore if you don't know what you're doing, using a shorter way like bulk renaming or replacing will destroy your save file... if you're not confident then just skip the upgrade part

What I've shown here and what this video is all about, can't be downloaded and replaced with your existing save game... that's the whole point, to not replace your progress but to ease off your snowrunner experience by giving money and unlocking stuff

For Windows XBOX or gamepass users - I never included this in the video because it is really painful process for gamepass versions, but for what it is worth, you can try this on your own risk....

Step 1 - Go to this location - (nuclearlaunchcode)"

Step 2 - In there you'll find different files with extension (FILE), copy them to your desktop and change their extension by renaming them, simply add . DAT or . CFG in the end

Step 3 - Find the save file, it has to be one of the high Kb files

Step 4 - Edit the save file and save it

Step 5 - Rename it back to a FILE extension, simply remove any extension (cfg or dat) and put it back to the save location mentioned in step 1

*Update 2024* - After the recent updates the save game folder has moved to a *RUNE* folder, keep following steps in the video until you see a RUNE folder

God bless you, I played the game 3 years ago and I also cheated but I played on Epic, now I have the game in Steam because I like Steam more. However steam built it differently than epic, so the video back then didn't help me anymore. But with your video it was pretty easy with your help it was a piece of cake. Thank you :)

still works august 2024, when you do the upgrades hit ctrl+h and find ":0, " (no quotations) and replace with ":2, " and be careful to stop after the upgrades section. then go back up to the start of user upgrades and do the same thing with ":0}" and replace with ":2}"

if you mess up and replace too much im not sure what will happen so make a back up file.

Okay, i got another problem, ive edited with notepad savedgame, but when i acces my savedgame, it shows i have lvl1, i edit to lvl 30 but ingame nothing changes

You dont need VS code for this, this can be done in a text editor, even the one built into windows

use find replace, and just click replace if it is part of upgrade section, next if it doesn't
