When it comes to Guitar stuff, I like everything, but I can only afford a few things, so I’ve learned to really appreciate what I’ve got. 😉

The really popular thing that I don't like AT ALL is Marshall Amplifiers. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE... I actually worked in the Test Department at Marshall Amplification for about 9 months. My whole working day was like "Yup, that sounds exactly as irritating as the last one, NEXT!"
The worst part was that if it didn't have that distinct Marshall sound I had to "fix" it, even if I thought it sounded way better I had to work on it until it irritated me in that same specific way again.

I think the Orange Rocker 15 Terror is the best amp available for it's price. It works for home, band practice, and gigs. It's not a high gain amp but has a decent amount of gain if you want it to. And by adjusting the EQ and using overdrives you can get pretty much any dirty tone you want. It also has a nice clean tone of you turn the gain down. It has a natural channel that is a perfect pedal platform. I think people get the idea that Orange is only for Doom and Stoner rock but there'sore variety than you think. They were one of Jimmy Page's main amps and there are people using them in almost every genre of music from Pop and R&B to Death Metal. They sound fantastic in a mix. Of course the speakers matter as well, just like any amp.

That’s the thing about Strats. A lot of them may not play great and are uninspiring. But then you get ahold of that magical one.

P bass came with cover on the pick up that was used as a rest for your thumb. I have a 1973 one and it still have its cover. It's really convenient.

Tbh the only actually comfortable Gibson I've played is one of the custom shop Les Paul double cuts (like the $5, 000 ones), everything feels surprisingly compact on those.

Re : Guitar gain in recording : The more gain on the guitar, the smaller the sound. Always go less....when you double it, it sounds WAY bigger. Distortion is kinda an auditory illusion when it comes to recording.

Mine is Recitifers as a death metal player. I've spent a lot of hours trying to get good tones out of them and just can't do it. I can make a Mark series sound good, I can make a Dual Caliber sound good, Marshalls, Peaveys, ect, but I can't get along with Rectos.

With the gain beyond noon, Klons sound incredible. It's a great overdrive.
