I hope Rachel reads these comments. What I want her and everyone to know is that regardless of how Netflix PORTRAYED the show, *I* personally knew who was the real villain and who was the victim in the show, and I could see that Rachel was being victimized. I bought Rachel's book to give her my support, never at any point did I feel like Anna's actions in the show were meant to be celebrated. But maybe that's because I have BEEN a victim of a con artist and know exactly how it feels and that people do and will blame the victim. Con artists are CONFIDENT, that's the problem. Victims lack the confidence. But that doesn't mean Rachel is to blame here...
Anyone who is victimizing Rachel just needs to some day be in her shoes.

i agree with the Rachel's comment on condemning Netflix for glorifying the fraudster. There is something terribly wrong with such behaviour and callousness being perpetrated and celebrated. No wonder Anna chose NY and not Paris as her playground. She knew where "fake it till you make it " will be accepted.
Also, Anna said No one would read Rachel's book. I just purchased it and can't wait to learn her side of the story. All the best Rachel!!

It is important to look at all sides. Anna is definitely not innocent but I do wonder why Rachel chose to go straight to France after Morocco instead of returning to the United States? If it were me with concerns about traveling and not able to afford it as well as card concerns I wouldn't be photographing and touring France, I would be on my way home. It just isn't adding up something is missing.
