This is one of my favorite restaurants. I just hate that their restaurant is really far away but it is DEFINITELY worth the gas mileage just to go there especially if one is looking to experience the Hungarian culture. The hospitality is amazing, considering they run the show and host events the owners is have a smile on their faces, welcoming in guest and share the Hungarian culture.

Had lunch there today. The beer bratwurst on a bed of mashed potatoes (with a side of sauerkrat) was ABSOLUTELY worth the drive from Tyler!!

My wife and I live in Tyler and have enjoyed their food before. I’m thinking that it may be time to make that 30 minute “Daytrip” back over to Kilgore, so we can eat some more.

These are my favorite videos that yall do. Sure the very popular known places are cool, but I love when yall show these small businesses that not alot of people outside of the immediate area know about. Especially when it shows a completely different culture that most of us aren't used to.

Definitely pinned this place to my map to try next time I'm out that way.

0:13 Hungary is in central Europe, not eastern.

These people really do make the authentic dishes, I can see it (I was born and raised in Hungary). If I ever go to Texas, I will for sure check it out.

Funny, of all states, I do find it fitting that they are in Texas. Goulash literally means cowboy meal. I can see how Texans might enjoy this fare.

@The Daytripper Have you ever Been to Cisco Texas? The Old Abandoned Zoo Nature Trails take you through the ruins of an abandoned zoo from the 1920s, and it’s the creepiest hike you’ll ever take.

I'm very disappointed! I don't understand that, why Brigitta is lying in this video at 0:45. She says:
"YES, it comes from Hungary, so you can not find it here"...
It's a BIG BULLSHIT! Everything on the table, The sausages and the salami is Made in Chicago by BENDE company! Not imported from Hungary!
I don't understand why you have to lie dear Brigitta!? The original imported Hungarian salami is PICK, not BENDE!
One more little thing...
The taste and quality of the Bende salami shown in the video, doesn't even come close to the original Hungarian Pick salami!

Just look up Karl Gundel. He is also mainly responsible for all these good dishes of Hungary.
