I haven’t tried alum acetate before, I just read that you need chalk at some point. You didn’t use chalk, and I was wondering why?

Thanks so much for another yummy bundle of inspiration! While I adore the beautiful bold pink one gets from cochineal, I always find myself returning to the awe-inspiring onion skin orange. So simple but so effective. And thanks for throwing in the silk and highlighting the contrast between the two fibers. What sort of silk do you like to use? It's so lovely!
