9 dead after vehicle plows into canal in Belle Glade

Nine people have died, leaving just one survivor, after a vehicle crashed into a canal Monday night in Belle Glade.

Don't drink and drive with a van full of people. This stuff happens when you put a dozen people in a van and it's been a long day. Happens all the time in California with illegals.

"Almost a dozen people" ... What IS that? 12 is SO much worse than 10? 12 would have 100 times more than 10? 10's not a good enough "even number? WHAT. IS. THAT? Oh yeah- dude being a drama queen, instead of just reporting the news as it stands.

10 people, 9 dead, is horrific enough, thank you very much. It doesn't need embellishment- and it gives a slight, (not all that bad) feeling to your reporting. The families involved will tell you- It's horrific enough, "as is".

Weight probably was a factor. Ten people averaging 150 pounds (wild guess) would be a 1, 500 pound cargo. Anyone who has driven a fully loaded truck knows what I'm talking about.

Okay I have listened to this over and over and I'm still very confused. Was there another car involved that didn't get out of the way is that what they're saying? They keep mixing it up and they're not telling us exactly what they're saying. 1 minute it's an SUV in the water the next minute there's an SUV that didn't turn properly was it this SUV I don't know. Terrible reporting. And it's not dark at 7:30.
