Love your take on seeing this raw emotion in what is typically a very produced show. It’s what made this so interesting! Communication breakdown at its finest.

Also coming here to hear your thoughts on his final line. We didn’t mention it either!! Something like “because of my fate I believe this was meant to be” 🤔

to all of this! Having had a day to process, I’ve cooled down a little. I think this argument just came from two situationally different places. He’s dating multiple people and needs to narrow it down, but Susie just has one boyfriend, and IRL that type of thing is something that you wouldn’t feel the need to spell out to the one person you’re in a relationship with. I think they both kind of unfairly expected something from the other, without ever talking about it. And so true, if I were Gabby or Rachel watching this back 😩😩😩

Do you think if Susie had communicated this earlier the outcome would’ve been different? Like would he have sent her home earlier on or skipped the fantasy suite portion of the other two dates?

Your insights seem spot on. And I wonder, too, could Clayton have asked Susie her thoughts on the matter before diving in to fantasy suite dates? After all, Clayton’s the one who took action. It was odd that Susie didn’t anguish about not talking to him sooner. Why was that? She did seem taken by surprise by his “I love you most” declaration.

My wild prediction: Clayton ends the show alone but gets back together with Rachel, since she seems blindly head over heels with him.

Not totally sure I understand the normalize ending the show assertion. After all, haven’t we seen quite a few happily ever afters from folks who “settled” for/with their #2 choice? (Desiree, Jason, Arie)

He blamed her for him sleeping with them. If she gave an ultimatum & changed her mind about him, he would still blame her. He's blaming his anger response on her, too. How we respond when we're angry OR when we're "in love".. is under our own control.
He could've asked her to clarify her boundary

Yep. Fights are ugly. Breakups are ugly. Could Clayton have handled it better? Absolutely. But he just had his heart broken on national tv and that’s a lot to handle. No one is perfect.

The problem isn’t that she didn’t communicate her boundary, the problem is that he got upset with her for having a boundary. He wanted crush the last 3 women with no repercussions. He’s setting whoever he ends up with for more of his bad behavior in the future. If he was a better man, he would’ve kept his pecker in his pants. He is narcissistic and manipulative. The behavior is just so obvious! He shouldn’t have to be told to be considerate towards women that he loves...potentially his future wife. He’s not behaving like he wants to be anyone’s future husband. Clayton, heck, all men, should have better character if he really is planning on marrying/committing to a woman. The man needs therapy for real! 💯

Ok, he should just call it a wrap and go work on himself. Go take a vacation, go to the spa, chill, talk it out with a therapist . Do not go around giving interviews, regroup and fix his headspace. Hot mess!
