I don't see anything wrong with it, I can clearly see the road ahead plus the sides. The high beems are sufficient, you probably alerted the neighbours!

I too have sensitive eyes when driving in the dark. Always turn the main screen off (go too cleaning mode) and put the brightness down all the way on the drivers screen.

Did you set the display to auto day/night? Personally I have no problem with the brightness.

For the headlights, you do not mention that you can adjust the height. I have put it to the highest level and do not get complaints from other drivers.

I trust what you say, but the the entire area where the camera films is fully illuminated.

It almost looks like the regular lights are adjusted down (like you could do manually back in the day to accommodate for a loaded vehicle changing their angle of attack), robbing them of some of their range.

unfortuately the highbeam isnt bright much nor wide much than Model Y....But i give the low normal lighting is brightful enough and wild enough.

Automatic dipping should be removed as an option on the xpilot and on any specification and sales literature. It is a big FAIL from me. It flashes oncoming drivers randomly, doesnt dip for cars travelling in front. It fails to the point of being dangerous for other road users.
The lights themselves are of reasonable brightness, but the kick up on the passenger side beam is also of concern on lowbeams in bends towards the passenger side. If the lights tracked with steering it probably wouldn't be so bad.
I would like to think that this could be rectified with OTA update, but as it was not addressed in the last update, I suspect that this may not be possible.

Not sure if its camera angles or something, but those headlights seems waaaay inferior to most other cars. The Polestar 2 i had illuminated far longer ahead of the car than the G6 in this video. The way the G6 highbeams work is kinda like an old H4 halogen bulb. All in all, im glad i picked a Tavascan over this.

Chinese products, the specs look good, but you have to accept that the performance may not be perfect. The quality is according to the price.😅

I wish they make g6 without glass roof.this may not be a problem in the north but in hot Europe or Africa and in china it sucks
