I think it was because ap for vats and running was shared, they should have added an ap meter for vats specifically and for sprinting specifically

My favorite downgrade has to be the crit system in fallout 4. Sure it was powerful as all heck, but man I loved those random lethal blows with a cinematic shot.

Man. In fallout 3 did a 95% chance to crit build/Vats that was one of the most overpowered play through. Still my favorite build to this day. They Butchered my boy in Vegas. I understand why but still sad

Fallout 4 feels like the optimal version, as it is good, but not ridiculously busted like the F03 version.

Honestly I always had this thing that the shooting mechanics in 3 are wonky so I actually use VATS in it all the time, but almost never in the later games to the point I often forget it exists.

personally, I like it in Fallout 3 best. actually gives me a solid reason to even use V.A.T.S. in the first place.
