I just discovered this song at an 80s night in France a few weeks ago and it hasn't left my head since. I can't believe this didn't become a hit in the States! She had the vocals, the energy, the looks, the song itself is catchy as hell, she would have been huge and had a massive gay following as well with those diva vocals. I went on Wikipedia to look up what she's been doing since, and it looks like she went on X-Factor but there was a big controversy because she didn't use the same name or mention her former career, so people felt misled into thinking she was a complete novice with a golden voice. I know she gave up her career to raise kids, and then moved to Slovakia for awhile, and is trying to resurrect her career in a completely different genre, but if she wants to work, I wish she wouldn't throw away her dance roots or the songs people know her for. There's a huge market in Europe for 80s nostalgia concerts where a ton of acts go on tour together and sing the songs that made them famous. It's a fun night for all ages to relive the music of the most fun decade, and it's big business in many countries. She could absolutely do that.
