On this one Rory you are right. I was often frustrated by the lack of pragmatism from Wenger. Man U and Chelsea would come and play simple counter attack football over and over again knowing Wenger was stuck in his ways. They'd take 3 points regardless of their form.

I am an Arsenal fan who lived through that period and I have to admit in retrospect Mourinho had every right to set up his team as he saw fit. Also, Arsene, even though was a great coach when it came to creating a playing style and identity, he seemed to lack a plan B when he came up against an opponent that was tactically astute.

Great video, although I would disagree about Arsenal being only a defensive team. They can also be expansive at times and score quite a lot of goals. Arteta has built a very versatile team that can adapt to various styles of play depending on the opposition.
