I really feel for that guy whose dad just died. That must've been really hard getting rid of all of his favorite belongings that way.

Some vinyl is worth a lot of money but condition is the deciding factor.

Really cool Elvis records. Some nice Elvis bootlegs. The Elvis painting is from 1965

It always surprises me how often within picking videos how little if any sign of checking condition there is before purchase.

The “$125” record used to be worth big money back in the 90s but you can pick it up for $10 now

He passed right over all of the Buddy Holly records like they were junk

Didn’t strike gold. You’ll be lucky to make your money back & if you do, it’ll take a long time to do it. Luckily it wasn’t a fortune. But stop buying records unless you wanna learn a about them.

Vinyl collecting is generational. So the prices that this guy had on those records were probably from the 70's or 80's, when the people who were into those artists were alive. However, Elvis is a perfect example of a generation who had pretty much died off, and there's no one around with that kind of expendable cash. That's why that $300.00 record is now selling for $50.00. The Badfinger album is really cool! (Depending upon its condition.)

Hi, really liked the video. If it's not too far, go back & see if the man has those 45s, Memphis 45s can be worth hundreds if not thousands each. Elvis first record on Sun is one of the most sought after in existence. He could very well have one. Good luck to you

I like the two trolls. I had one in my childhood. I called it my goo goo doll.

$275 was a lot for the condition of 90% of what you got. Like someone else mentioned condition is everything... as well as demand. Enjoy!

What you picked up was a treasure trove of very good condition vintage records from the 1950's and early 1960's. Collectors of those items will pay a decent amount for those items. That Cadillacs album is a choice pick, well done. You didn't even know what you bought, but you really hit a jackpot.
I'm a new subscriber, and have to say that you two young folks seem like a cool couple. Good luck, and happy picking!

The framed Elvis portrait of him in red, im thinking i was given a poster back in 1968 when i went and saw him in the movie Speedway. It was in poster form. I was eight years of age then. It looks like the picture i had. I might be wrong because, it's along time ago now.

The guy said he had Sun record 45s - you might have left a lot of gems if you didn’t grab all the 45s- those albums for the most part looked pretty beat up

If that clown is an authentic Lladro fugue it should bring a nice price from a collector. Nice haul.

Elvis lps have the same problem as Beatles lps. There's just too much of it, and unless it's a first pressing at EX to NM condition, you're dealing with nickels and dimes.
