My PERSONAL opinions on whether the winners were fair or not:
2009: Fair. World Class goal from Ronaldo. Fair.
2010: Both of these were good, I really I can't say.
2011: Personally preferred Rooney's bicycle kick amazing goal in a Manchester Derby aswell.
2012: Falcao should have won this ngl. Pretty unorthodox bicycle kick.
2013: A bicycle kick from wayyy outside the box or a volley from inside the box. No brainer this was Zlatan's. Fair.
2014: 2 kinda similar goals, but James was sensational. Fair.
2015: Lira's goal was amazing, but come on 💀 this should have been Messi's. He took on FIVE players (gk included) to score a goal that was apparently "impossible".
2016: Fair. Looks like a goal you'd score in a videogame. (not trying to underplay Marlone's goal, it was amazing aswell.)
2017: How the actual fuck did Giroud win this? Masuluke scored a bicycle kick, as a GOALKEEPER.
2018: I wanna seriously know how were the braindead people who voted for Salah's goal. Such a normal goal that they changed how the winners were decided.
2019: As a Messi fan, I wanna say Messi's was better, but it wasn't. Zsori scored a ridiculous bicycle kick paired up with a ridiculous assist. Fair.
2020: Cool bicycle kick, but Son just breezing through the Burnley defense to score solo was just World Class. Fair.
2021: Fair. Cheeky goal from Lamela.
2022: How did Oleksy even do this? Fair. Payet was amazing but Oleksy was better.
2023: Fair not much to say.
