Earth's seasons are caused by its tilt and revolution around the sun. When a hemisphere points toward the sun, it's summer. When a hemisphere points away from the sun, it's winter. The two hemispheres always have opposite seasons.

Question: Why are day and night not reversed in summer and winter when the side of the earth facing the sun changes in summer and winter?
Example: In summer, the northern hemisphere is lit on the right or tilted towards the sun. In winter, the northern hemisphere is lit on the left or tilted away from the sun. Since the “north pole” is always pointing towards Polaris, it seems like day and night would be reversed during summer and winter🤷🏻‍♂️
