Destiny 2 Lore - There's a voice within the Echo talking to Maya Sundaresh. Who is it?

Destiny 2's Lore and Story shows us that there's a voice within the Echoes. Maya Sundaresh, AKA The Conductor can hear a voice within the echo and it has potentially been influencing her. This might link to those that were previously a part of the Witness, which would also imply the possible origin of the so called "Lost Civilisation" that is forming deeper within Nessus.

Whatever's in this particular echo is probably connected to the Qugu, considering we have another lore book this episode that's been unlocking at the end of each act featuring them

6:00 So Byf reads the "Anno" in the log as if it was the writer catching themselves from saying "another", but it reads more like they're pausing while saying "Anno me" (as opposed to Anno Domini). Note that the log is recorded as "0002 AS" (so the joke is "Anno Sundaresh").

In the Ghost shell text, when she says "Anno... me" she is counting years (days in this case) since awakening in the classic form of Anno, meaning 'in the year of' in Latin. So the logs we see notated as "0002 AS" and similar are in Anno Sundaresh, but here meaning 2 days after obtaining the Echo.

One thing I’ve wished to see since reading about it in the Books of Sorrow is the Tai Emperor Raven. Just imagining a giant Taken alien/bird thing slash a whole moon in half with its talons sounds so sick it makes me disappointed NOBODY at a Bungie has put it in game yet. I thought for sure it’d be a raid boss in Salvation’s Edge. Who knows. Maybe Xivu is in command of the Taken now and she’s saving it for when we meet her. Now that she’s mortal, a moon-busting Taken sounds like the perfect secret weapon to use against us.

—“This Ishtar gig is pretty wild, even for a lughead like me. Get it, Ace? Lughead? Come on, I’m trying! I’ll get some better jokes, I promise. I knew I was here to secure some top-secret thing in the Jungle, but I saw it today. They dug up the remains of a technological civilization that predates Humanity. Don’t tell anyone I told you, or you know, it could be wipesville again.”—

-From the Journals of Cayde-6

I find it no coincidence that this Echo landed on Nessus. A species before the Vex’s Invasion used to be here. It’s the Qugu. Usually when an obscure area of the Lore gets sudden exposure in a Season, it’s because they are relevant to the story.

In the 3 Part Lore Book about the Qugu, i reveals that the Qugu managed to barely escape the Hives extinction by uploading their minds through the Darkness into an Ancient Pyramid Ship buried beneath their Planet. The Lore book even ends saying “All that remained was an Echo”

I think I can already tell what species are in the other Echoes:

Mayas Echo of Command: The Qugu

Fikruls Echo of Corruption: Eliksni from Riis, or the Ammonite

???’s Echo of the Deep: *THE ECUMENE*

Maya I think also called this the Echo of Command, I find this part curious as does this mean the echos has their own special power to them along side the voice. Maybe in Revenant it’s an echo of empowerment and heresy resurrection or reveal

I'm quite interested in what the Echoes are, I feel like they're essentially Ghosts but made when the Travelers Light and Witness' Darkness merged when we unmade it

If only the Conductor wasn’t a color scheme ruining exo head grafted onto an otherwise unique and interesting character model. She looked so intriguing before the reveal

I thought this was like a given, it’s an “echo of the witness” so it’s echoing his thought and ways.

Tinfoil hat, maybe WE find the echo of the witness that is looking to manipulate its way back to the final shape, and that’s how we claim a resonance subclass? Fighting ex-servants of the witness trying to claim that power from us, as we struggle for control in ourselves, would make a great story for the new 6 month expansion model. Also, we have 6 subclasses, and we know bungie loves the number 7

I've been calling that ghost shell the RoN shell. The base color scheme is pretty similar to that raid.

3:58 I got mummy 2 vibes when entering the area. It looked a bit like the oasis with the pyramid in its center.

Haven’t started the video yet but if there’s any entity alive in the echo of command, my money is on Te’Qal

Will we ever meet the last part of the witness? The single point that compelled the rest. The one who said, "We do not understand..I do not understand"

Random theory for funzies: The Ancient Civilization of Nessus, were the Qugu who survived the destruction of their race and home by the Hive.
They created the Pouka as a means to help their population cope with the loss or lack of the jaw-beasts. A Darkness connected artificial substitute to connect to. The Vex then arrived, causing more issues. Vex didn't see Pouka as a threat and ignored them or connected with the darkness through them.

After the Collapse, Savathun hid the Veil on Neptune with the newly developing Neomuna settlement nearby. Besides those settling on Neptune, humanity didn't much venturing out from Earth for a long while during the Dark Ages.
The Pouka inside Nessus were drawn to the Veil on Neptune as its orbit passed by ("close in astronomical terms), and found humanity there. Their connection to the Darkness keeps them near the Veil, but are still fulfilling their function of trying to help those dealing with emotional trauma.
Pouka are the equivalent of emotional support animals that were left alone after the remaining Qugu survivors slowly died off. Living inside Nessus until feeling the Veil brought them to humanity where they could continue the purpose they were made for.

Correct me please if i'm wrong but the civilian ship that was on it's way to Neptune with Maya and her crew on board got attacked by maybe one of the Witnesses Disciples that we haven't seen or heard of before. It was stated that this figure took multiple heavy cannon shots and tried to destroy the propulsion system. Maybe this is what's meant with "a interesting biology" and the disciple is her new ally which would make some sense because their stories are already connected.

When reading the ghost shell, i got the impression that she was in direct contact with the winnower through the echo

They started the episodes bison describing that echoes are the many voices of the witness combined with light, that then were spit out of the traveler. To me it lines up pretty well with it being a precursor within it
