Belizean Sweet Potato Pound 1/2 Recipe

Sweet Potato Pound is so divine because of the coconut milk. Very few ingredients to this recipe and very simple to make.

My family recipe is similar but we grate the potato’s and don’t cook on top of the stove. Once you mix everything put it in a buttered pan and bake.😁

Hi!  I use to love eating this desert growing up in Red Creek, my grandmother would occationally make this treat..  What kind of potato are you using?  I know sweet potato is mentioned but here in Alabama where I now live, a sweet potato is of an orange color and your potato color is tannish looking.
