I just saw this movie today. I must say, I would not be brave enough to take a glimpse inside of Christopher Nolan's mind. There are good movies, and then there are great movies. And then there is Interstellar. I have no words.

*Warning: Spoiler Alert*

I've noticed that no one on the internet in any article or video is able to explain the ending of Interstellar completely. I am going to explain it to you in the most simple and straight-forward words.

I'm assuming you have already watched the movie and understand everything in the start (which was pretty straight-forward).

Plan A was to ship the entirety of humanity in ships but Dr. Brand hadn't finished the equation which would allow them to lift such heavy ships off the ground. There was missing information about gravity. Dr. Brand however promised Cooper he will have finished the equation once Cooper returns after finding a habitable planet.

Plan B was to take human embryos along with them on the journey so they can continue the human species.

Dr. Brand knew all along that Plan A was impossible because the missing information of gravity could not be obtained with their abilities.

Everything that happened in the movie happened. They went through the wormhole and visited Miller's planet and Mann's planet. They ran out of fuel and Cooper rescued Endurance. Cooper sacrificed himself because he knew there was no way he would make it back to Earth anyways so he sacrificed himself so Emilia could be saved along with the human embryos. Cooper DIES. Emilia makes it to Edmunds' planet and everyone on Earth DIES because Plan A was not possible. Emilia continues to raise the embryos and the human species continue on Edmunds. The embryo population know that Cooper was their savior. Millions of years later, the human species on Edmunds evolve into the higher dimension and become fifth dimensional human beings. Now time is for them just like space is for us. They can freely move around any TIME. They are not bound by anything. They have access to infinite amount of TIME. They even have access to moments millions of years ago. 

They know that Cooper died for them and never got to meet his daughter. However, now that they have access to infinite amounts of time, they can manipulate time. They cannot directly communicate with the third dimensional human beings in the moments they have access to and cannot give them the secret information of gravity (as now they have infinite access to time and space they know the secret info). However, they know through the use of gravitational anomalies they can somehow get Cooper to find the secret information. To pay a tribute to their savior they manipulate space and TIME because of their abilities to build a wormhole that leads to a planet NEAR a black hole. Why a black hole? Because a black hole has that missing gravity information.

The movie starts from here when THEY manipulate space and time in order for the past to play out differently. Everything happens and this time Cooper sacrifices himself and was going to DIE again but the future human beings manipulate time and space for him and save him and get him into the tesseract (which is fifth dimensional space and that is why Cooper has access to infinite time and can manipulate the moments he sees through gravity) in order to communicate the missing information to his DAUGHTER (her ghost) so that the people of Earth could be saved. This is what happens and after he communicates it to her, the fifth dimensional human beings close the tesseract and send Cooper back through the wormhole (which is also fifth dimensional space which is why he shakes Emilia's hand). Now Cooper and his daughter have saved the world and they meet. The fifth dimensional human beings have paid their tribute to their savior through their capabilities of space and time.

This is what the story of Interstellar is trying to communicate to us.

We live in a world where we cannot manipulate space and time and can only move forward. But THEY are who have evolved into fifth dimensional human beings. The past, the present, the future does not exist. Everything exists simultaneously.

This movie transcends what I thought a movie could make me feel. My mind can't even grasp the fact that some people didn't like it. Interstellar made me even more proud to be part of a species that is able to create such complex, fascinating and insightful fiction.
