No but seriously. In a way they were very similar, as he told her. They were both lone wolves lost in the darkness of this world & hope just came & changed everything for them. Not only did she make them have new dream. She made them find each other. A true companion who'd walk all the way with them. No one understood him the way she did. That's why regardless of all what happened between them or against them she never gave up on him. The major turn that happened to him before & after hayley is honestly like night & day. I used to hate him in tvd. But through the originals, not only did we learn to understand him, we learned to see the good in him. A good that hayley always saw & never doubted.
