Students who are complaining that Kohberger was "allowed" to be on campus are forgetting that police still needed time to build a case. A white Elantra in some grainy video is not enough to put somebody in preventative detention.

I find it difficult to believe that the victims didn’t know him and really NO ONE can say for sure….

They didn’t know him, but he knew them, probably from a distance. That’s how it usually is. The popular girls that everybody loves, and the weird crime lab kid that nobody seems to even notice. It just doesn’t usually turn out in a quadruple homicide.

Goncalvez Attorney needs to advise his clients not to do anymore interviews. Get them to grieve privately to a therapist n not the media. There’s a trial the DA needs to win or did everyone forgot abt that?

How can that lawyer say the victims didn't know him? They're not around to say that. That lawyer is not very bright.

He chose them because they were easy targets. He most likely ran into one of them in public, thought she was pretty, followed her home and realized she lived in a house with all women after spending a few days stalking them.

Either this guy is a patsy or somehow he KNEW one of the girls, even if it was a single chance meeting

If the Reddit account people think was him really was him telling the truth thinking he had the safety of anonymity, he did know them, but he also said “know them” could mean anything from an incidental meeting to best friends. I suspect it would be more towards the “incidental” side, and if that account was him telling the truth in the safety of anonymity, that account was also adamant over and over again that the two targets were Xana and Maddie. The account didn’t specify where he might have met them, but it did point out the were both in the same sorority and worked at the same restaurant. If that really was him, my guess would be he was at that restaurant at least once and met them there. Obviously, that theory comes from a ton of “what if’s.”

You would think a guy who grew up with 2 sisters would know how to treat and interact with women better. He lived with 3 (mom, sisters) during his formative years.

I think he found them on social media or ran into them in person and overheard them talk about social media or something. So it made them good targets because he could follow them online to learn more.

It's a terrible tragedy but you can't arrest people before you have the evidence. That's just life.

This case has more twists and turns than a
volcano.

Let the investigators & police do their jobs . First, a lot of people complain that investigators are getting no where, now people complaining about transparency . Let the FBI & Police do there job for heaven sake .!

How would they know? The assailant clearly targeted at least one of the victims. She may not have “known” him, but she encountered him and probably interacted with him.

One of them left the door unlocked for him.

When the police didn't release any info to the public for awhile, ya knew they were on to him. Lord have mercy on law enforcement; they're under a lot of pressure which most of us could not handle.

These students are weirdos. It was an investigation. Get over yourselves and stop trying to be victims in every situation

These gals werent the brightest. They showed the inside of the house and address on Instagram. Partied every day, invited strangers over, didnt lock doors etc

The fact that he knew the inside layout of the house has my mind wandering… that house was set up like a maze. I most definitely feel he was a stranger to these 4 but I’m lost on the fact that he was able to navigate his way through the house so easily. He definitely knew the layout of the house prior to stepping foot inside 🤔….

What a dumb thing for that student to say about them keeping it hidden… lol
