Wabi-sabi is the aesthetics of imperfection, of incompleteness that encompasses the philosophy of Japanese art and living. Borrowing this theme as the concept for our new range of curated collections, we have designed products that are contemplative while they are vibrant and contemporary.
We assigned studio potters to develop our ideas. A close collaboration between the studio potter and #Zaazit design studio has helped create a very unique style for lifestyle interiors.
Raku Pottery technique was used for the desired unfinished look that lends the amazing visual and tactile feel. These products celebrate the imperfect and the unpredictable in creating art.
Each piece is different while it harmonises with the collection.
Imperfection as a style has become an influential culture worldwide.
The crackled glazed surfaces create patterns on the round discs which are set into our circular frames, and matched with desired colours and finishes.
This curated collection is a much-desired suit of products for spaces inspired by wabi-sabi styles of interiors.
