Watched the film yesterday, and it's 3 hours visual treat. Didn't took a restroom break during the entire run.

I think that Quaritch crushing the skull actually symbolizes how Quaritch has destroyed death itself by having his memories uploaded into a new body, thus becoming a stronger foe than ever.

The more I think about the film after seeing it finally I actually really like Quaritch's development way more than how he was in the first one. He was actually interesting.

I have read the first issue of Avatar: The High Ground, and it explains how Norm, Max and the other human refugees are in feared of Admiral Frances Ardmore’s threat to those who dare resisted the 10 ships that will colonized Pandora, and kill any of the formal RDA employees if they don’t surrender. Consider she is more authoritative and outranked Quaritch, I would like to see Ardmore as the antagonist in Avatar 3.

Yesterday I watched Avatar The Way of Water it's amazing James Cameron has directed a masterpiece once again

The biggest thing people will miss is the hidden messages about real life through the films. ( our connection to nature, what the leaders of earth want the world to look like "machines & drones", How powerful family is with each member involved, The way tribe's can stand together "like we did in true history" and many more)

Omg how is no one noticing that Natayem has 4 fingers and not 5 like the rest of the kids!? Like Is that foreshadowing for something in the sequels?? Why is this not being talked about!!!

4:32 Quaritches "Nothing's over while I'm breathing" turns out to be very very true.
First movie ends only after he dies.
Then they bring him back in the second one - he's still breathing so its not over again.
And then the second movie only ends when he stops breathing under water.
But he survives so it's again not over - more Avatar movies to come.
Then as Cameron says his character will be important in all continuing Avatar movies - he's still breathing - it's still not over :)

i feel like jake might become a member of every clan and maybe in the finale work together with all the clans to fight against the humans which would probably cause the gods to reveal themselves in some way

I might be tripping but like where did the water tribe dudes go at the end? they were all fighting the humans and then we basically never see them again. THE LEADERS DAUGHTER, the reason the water tribe attacked in the first place was just left on a rock and they just all of a sudden go home I guess?

My biggest takeaway from this movie is watching an almost full term pregnant warrior throwing a spear at someone’s head. So amazingly baddass

I think not a lot of people know about this, but the movie really nods to some of the big problems we have here on earth.


1: discrimination.
(Tonawari’s sons make fun of Jake’s sons, calling one of them “Forrest boy” but they overall make remarks about Jake’s son’s appearance, much like how whites have made names about blacks, which is more less of an issue today, but is still a problem in society.)

2. Animal cruelty
(To people who’ve watched the movie, this should be self explanatory)

3. War
(The big company trying to colonize Pandora *RDA* wants to use pandoras natural resources to make big bucks, and the Na’vi want to prevent Pandora from being taken over by humans. Also nods to the Ukrainian war between Russia and the United States. Russia wants to take over Ukraine for their natural resources, and the United States is trying to keep that from becoming a reality.)

There’s definitely a lot more that I’m forgetting, but those are some of the big problems we have in today society, and the movie wants us to understand that these issues have to be resolved.

Kiri’s “no father” storyline reminds me of Anakin Skywalker in the prequel storyline as “The Chosen One.”

I watched this movie today and it is the best 3D IMAX film I have seen since the first Avatar. This is a must watch on IMAX 3D because it was actually built for it.

when the youngest child falls down the ship hole and natiri follows you are left with KIRI(SIGOURNEY WEAVER/Ripley) saying no and held back by spider(HICKS) who says we gotta go. its identicle to aliens when newt gets taken underwater.
