OUR EYE ON THE EU - EP15 | Thinking about safety

In this month’s Our Eye on the EU broadcast, we take a closer look at how the cost of living crisis deteriorates young people’s access to fundamental rights. We also focus on developments of the far-right in the European Parliament: two new right-wing parliamentary groups have been formed, both of which are centered around ultranationalism, sovereignty and identity. Finally, we shed light on a recent report from the Fundamental Rights Agency that reveals accelerated state crackdowns on civil society organisations throughout Europe.
