Amazon Orders Flood This House - What’s Inside?

Porch pirates got sick of going everyday as it felt like a job. And they hate working for stuff.

Former Amazon delivery driver here! We had a route with one of these houses on it and it was interesting. All the deliveries were microwaves and mineral water. Some so old that the box around the item decomposed you just saw stacks of the items. No one ever answered the door even sometimes when a car was in the drive way suggesting someone was there. All reports that could be made were made and nothing ever came of it. Eventually there was no more yard space. Started throwing stuff in the bushes and became a game among the fellow drivers of jinga with stacking micro waves and mineral water. The last time I stopped there we had almost built a decorative wall/covering around the mail box by the road.

Some Chinese Amazon seller picked a random address for Amazon to send his unsellable inventory. It's cheaper than having unwanted inventory sent back to China. Another instance was recently on the news.

I heard scammers will use addresses like this to test if credit cards are active by shipping items

I have to say if this happened to me then I would just give it all way. Maybe keep one or two items I needed but most of it would go to charity or people in need of Christmas presents. Or even better wrap them all up and have a massive Christmas party for the local town everyone gets a free mystery gift!

I watched a special on this. Items sits too long in Amazon storage. Amazon will make the seller ship it back. China sellers just pick a random address because its cheaper. Hope this helps

Sorting that lot, storing the contents and disposing of the cardboard would be a full time job for the home owner - who no doubt already has a full time job and a family to care for and really does not need the hassle of setting up a sales system. If he said 'help yourself' there are plenty of individuals who would come and rip through boxes to find something worth having and leave a mess of trampled 'stuff' and cardboard for him to clean up. Amazon should have to come and sort it. Can they not be held responsible in some way?

Apparently it’s Chinese companies that have to prove an address in the United States or more likely to fudge sales numbers, so they spam it essentially with product and it appears to Amazon (which is essentially run by computers) that this business is doing very well.
