I finally got around to ordering one of these and it is awesome. If you carry a handgun with a military web belt then you MUST have one of these...

I had one of these when I was in the ARMY from 1994 to 2004. Wish I still had it.

That's a nice pease of equipment. I like that you are doing reviews on thing that are not currently reviewed.

I bought this to go with my brother's Christmas present (UM84) because he wears a backpack with a hip belt when he's out counting trees. Thanks for the demo!

Nice extender. If you have a pack with a waist strap it makes your pistol accessible as well. Thank you for the video, Matt

So I liked and have used this item as well. They are not very expensive I believe some have paid as little as $13.00 brand new, as you have said it clears valuable space on the pistol belt and for many put the pistol down lower on the leg for easier/quicker access (see note *). This is especially handy if you must draw your pistol while in the prone position. Now like most gear there is a down side and this is where, for many, very serious problem exists .... it is almost (is) impossible to sit with it in position as it is a long non-flexible bar. Other than that, for some, issue it is a very handy item to add to your inventory also the holsters 《UM84/UM92/M12》 whilst themselves designed with the M9 Beretta in mind have carried other 5 inch BL pistols such as 1911's, Taurus PT92AF (a favorite) and many other similar shaped pistols with no problems noted.

* For the aforementioned quick access I would very highly recommend the thumb break strap, TBS, available for as little as $8.00 new, but if you are the color coordinating type the only place I have ever seen the TBS in green is in photos, black is the other and as far as I know only color available oh also no one I know of has ever had any issues with retention of the weapon. The TBS replaces the flap cover on the holster and is very easy to install. The top flap while making access the weapon a much slower process (milliseconds can make a difference at times) is superior however in helping to protect the weapon from dirt, mud and of course the weather.

I love mine! Bianchi also has a nice shoulder rig for the M12. Again, no reviews on YouTube for it. I also have the bianchi universal flap holster for revolvers. It's perfect for a K frame .357 and fits all the same stuff that the m12 does.

Excellent review, sir, and one I have hoped for some time that someone would post.. Short and to the point, but covered all bases. Great style.

I really want a flap holster to use in the field, butI'm straddling the fence on the M12. My sidearm is the Beretta PX4, but I cannot find anyone who has tried it with an M12. eBay is a "survivalist's" friend, though, so I may have to just bite the bullet, buy a decent used one and give it a shot.

Thank you for posting this, and all your Alice gear videos. Too many are caught up in the high-priced "tactical" gear craze, and, as a result, overlook just how serviceable and affordable this gear can be.

Take care, and keep doing these videos. Old guys like me really enjoy them.

Seems a little too low for me, would like more a mid-ride option. An extra loop of webbing halfway down the extender would be perfect.

the three things I don't like about that holster when I was in hell take the Beretta and a 1911 and it has a cleaning rod built on to it and you could actually take the top off and put a strap hold down on it

The only disadvantage is... your spare Mag pouch should be on your left side🤔😁

did you order the leg strap separately?

NY makes it close to impossible to own a pistol. 2nd Amendment violation in my opinion.
