The Tragically Hip We'll Go, Too with Lyrics in Description

Показать описание
Track 7 from their third album “Fully Completely” released in 1992 copyright MCA Records. This is my favourite Hip album, and I consider it their best, both for the great songs and great production. It was recorded in London and produced by Chris Tsangarides, one of MCA’s preferred producers. The hope was that this album would break the band in the U.S. market, but it was not to be. After only two weeks of promotion for the U.S. release, MCA ceased their efforts, which I find unbelievable! The album achieved Platinum status in Canada almost immediately and in 2017 achieved Diamond status for sales of over one million copies. The album contained six songs that were released as singles, but this wasn't one of them. Written by The Tragically Hip and produced by Chris Tsangarides. RIP Gord Downie. Featuring:
Gord Downie – Lead vocals
Rob Baker – Lead, slide, rhythm & acoustic guitars
Paul Langlois – Rhythm & acoustic guitars & background vocals
Gord Sinclair – Bass & background vocals
Johnny Fay – Drums
To boldly clap in a room full of nothing
You never know, it could be one of those poignant evenings
Museum's locked and it's long since past closing
You cannot know, you cannot not know what you're knowing
What can you do, they've all gone, we'll go too
What can you do, they've all gone, we'll go too
The curtain climbs over me every morning
I don't know why I'm so immunized against reforming
To coldly slap at a face full of nothin'
You never know, it could have been one of those looks of longing
What can you do, they've all gone, we'll go too
What can you do, they've all gone, we'll go too
What can you do, they've all gone and we'll go too
What can you do, they've all gone and we'll go too
