What I love about this song most is just how timeless it is. I left my FNaF music phase a year and a half ago, and while all those songs do still hold up, it's The Puppet Song (TryHardNinja), Home (NateWantsToBattle), and this that hold up the best. The reason why I feel these all hold up is because they don't need to be in the setting of the games to work and make sense. These songs could very well be mistaken for random songs by a solo artist or band if someone isn't told that these songs are FNaF songs. The slow, building intensity of the piano, the suspenseful drumming, the wild but restrained guitars, it all just works so well given the speed and tone of the song, and Stein's vocals really just perfect it.
