Lil Kim was never nasty to Nicki, that't not true. You can't find any interview of Lil Kim just being mean, she always explained her experience. What she said then is very true to this day. That Nicki Minaj will say how much she love you one minute and the very next through subliminals at you and then PRETEND she did not. She is currently 15 years later doing the exact same thing to JT.

I think a lot of her paranoia is likely to do with what happened in 2018/around that time - you touched on it with the industry trying to blackball her, but it was REALLY bad like there were female rappers making funeral celebrations for her career and putting up fake obituaries and everything - there were celebs that had been on nicki's side suddenly turning on her and radios refusing to play her music so it's one of those things where while her behaviour isn't great, it's also sort of understandable. At the end of the day, I hope she can move past that trauma and heal from it - she doesn't owe the new wave of female rappers anything, she's not a mentor, but also she doesn't need to beef with every single one of them either lol

Lil Kim has said countless times that Nicki is one way in public, and then completely a different way behind closed doors. She said that Nicki was doing backhanded things behind the scenes, which is what she had an actual issue with. Nicki can pretend like she loved Kim so much in front of the fans, but that wasn't happening off camera. This is also what quite a few other female rappers have stated about Nicki over the years. Nicki has always wanted to be the only one. She doesn't know how to exist among others. Unfortunately, to this day, people still want to paint Kim as bitter and old, when she was just telling her negative experiences with Nicki -- just like Remy has told hers; just like Cardi has told hers; just like Latto has told hers; and just like Megan has told hers. Folks keep wanting to ignore the pattern.
