I think the DLC level will most likely be movie themed due to the fact that the movie releases 2 months after the game

My theory on how they could add Black Knight is that since it takes place in an alternate dimension AND alternate time, the Time Eater or Black Doom can technically still send Shadow to Avalon. And just imagine a boss fight against Sir Lancelot himself or even against King Arthur or a Dragon or Merlina. That shit would be so fire, and it’s not like we haven’t seen Shadow deal with the multiverse (cough cough, Sonic Prime).

(i heard this somewhere but i forgot so take this with a grain of salt) there was like a poll thingy where fans could choose stages from sonic’s past for generations back in 2011 and they were all set stages and it included secret rings and black knight and with the the new trailer (doom powers) shadow was never in chaos island but in shadow gen he just is so it isn’t too far off from being a possible level
