Episode #06 - Moeller Technique

This is one of my favorite exercises to do with students.

First of all because this is a bulletproof way to get really good at this Moeller move everyone is making waaay too difficult.

And secondly because at first this exercise will make you feel like a schmuck. Let me explain.

If you get through the initial embarrassing moment you will have progressed as a drummer AND as a human being. Who cares what others think? Just do it and get better in more ways than one.

Enjoy your progress!!

Lesson Level: All levels since we can (and constantly should) all improve our Moeller technique motion

Practice Drumming Anywhere - No Drums No Sticks Required

We all have moments when we don't have the luxury of being able to practice on a set of drums. Depending on your personal situation you may actually have a lot more time to practice without a drum kit than you do with one.

Most of us immediately think of pad work or hand technique when we think of practicing drumming without a drum set. But there's so much more we can do. That's what I'll be showing you in this series. There will be some obvious things coming up but I think there might be a few in this series which will spark your imagination about your own Practice Drumming Anywhere routine.

Need more input?

The series will remain unedited if possible to get a 'live vibe' across. Let me know how this works for you in the comments. Is it relaxed and clear, or too long/slow and as such boring as ****. Let's hear it!!
