This video was taken at J. Marchini Farms in Le Grand, California, and demonstrates how fresh figs are hand harvested into buckets in the field. The harvested product is then transported to the packinghouse to be graded, sorted and packed.

As a fig grower on the other side of the planet, I enjoyed this video. Figs go bad so quickly after harvesting which makes this farms scale much more respectable.
