"I don't know if I answered your question."
Come to think of it, neither do I.

The frontline interviewers are so good at allowing their guests to speak without interupptions. Thats why It's the only show I watch on times radio.

Roger Boyes has interesting, good points, well thought-through answers. Refreshing guest. Yes I too noticed the hesitations, that shows he thinks before talking. In the comments I read good recommendations of his writings.

I am far from being a political analyst, but even in my student days I found Fukuyama's "The End of History?" mind-bogglingly short-sighted.

Putin the strong man of Russia ran away from Moscow when an angry military man marched towards that city. What sort of hero is Putin?

This man offers incredible perspectives. He knows a lot and explains it very well. A geopolitical expert if ever there was one.

Putin is like an old mafia boss running out of time.

"Uhh, ummm...uhhh, umm..." that was perhaps the most painful interviews to listen to. I kept wanting to yell, "spit it out man."

As far as national security is concerned there is no difference between Bussia and Putin. The obsession in the west with the individual of Putin is ridiculous and misses the reasons for his popularity in Russia among people who remember the chaos and economic mismanagement of the Yeltsin era

So that would make the British Empire the worst thing in the 18th Century and the French for the 19th Century.

For playing silly games, Putin will inevitably win silly prizes.

This is why its best to have multiple people in governments making decisions not just 1 guy

In spite of the hesitancy, Roger Boyes is worth listening to as he has a better grasp of what's going on in Russia and the Middle East than many another interviewee. Unfortunately we don't learn in this video even approximately HOW Putin will be overthrown by the Russian elite. But it's good to know that it's on the cards, anyway!

Why do we assume if putin leaves office all this ends? What if the next leader is even worse than putin?
