Identification

In this video, I try to provide a helicopter view on what we mean when we talk about an econometric model being "identified".

The model I consider is simple because there is just one variable, y, and we are trying to identify some of the parameters of the distribution of y. But all of the intuitive ideas and the concepts carry over to the more general discussions of what we mean when we discuss identification.
