Turn Your TV On and Off With Google Home and Chromecast

You can now easily turn your TV on and off by voice if you have a Chromecast and a Google Home.

Once your products are setup and on the same WiFi try using these commands:

Turn on TV
"Turn on/the/my TV," "Turn on/the/my Chromecast
"Power on/the/my TV," "Power on/the/my Chromecast"

"Turn off/the/my TV,"
"Turn off/the/my Chromecast"

"Power off/the/my TV,"
"Power off/the/my Chromecast"

Wow thanks this was really helpful, I was looking for how to turn on my LG TV with Google Home but my TV dosen’t support Google Assistant directly I have an WebOS3.8 and you need at least WebOS4.0 but after that tutorial it works just fine!

That once again a very great video. I need to get a Chromecast (Chromecast or Chromecast Ultra?). Is there a way that I would be able to control the channel? Now that would be awesome to say, "Hey Google, turn on the Samsung 55 to Cartoon Network or CBS". Keep the great videos coming.
