He appeared out of nowhere on the 88th day of no contact. And then again appeared out of nowhere to announce the demise of his parent on the 138th day of nc. I chose to take my distance indefinitely because he was a toxic opportunistic person who was not ready to invest emotionally. I am moved on with only rare moments of nostalgia. I am not ready to go back to an unchanged person here. So, holding strong and not showing interest unless they invest and am sure of their consistency. Otherwise am happy in my life.

The space NC has provided for me is either moving me away from my ex completely or is enabling me to have my eyes wide open if we are to be in touch again.

After having watched several videos, including yours, I have concluded that for me no contact was firstly to distance myself. However, I think that my ex will not reach out, probably out of fear that I don't want anything to do with her. So, I've made a decision, and this decision is to contact her with a handwritten letter (it's an inside thing for her and I) where I don't break no contact electronically... and the point of that letter is for me to express some thoughts of why I loved her and she loved me... More than anything, I believe that this will prompt a response so that I know if I need to move on or attempt to make things work. She will receive this letter at around 35 to 40 days. And my no contact was brutal. And I'm sure she didn't see it coming.

They left me for another girl who he is still with today (a year later). He was mean each time he reached out immediately. I would ignore and I’d say he’d attempt to reach out about once every 45-60 days. Sometimes lashing out about random things he picks apart to be mad at, and sometimes he reaches out with a “coming to terms” type of txt where he seems to be attempting to stay friends. This is the third round of No Contact for me and my Avoidant Ex. THe first oe lasted 4 months, but she reached out at day 52. The second round she reached out at Day 47. This oe is currently at 30 days on the nose. I told her when I came back after the 4 months that I would not chase her again, and I'm sticking to that.
