10:30 does anybody else become happy when he says, “Tumble Wumble!” Or is it just me? 😄

For me as an absolute Arrma Fan Girl: XMAXX because of the durability. Once the issues on the Outcast (Shock shafts, Arms, Ball Ends, Chassis) are fixed: Outcast. Epic Video Kev, this is what I call a hands down comparison. 😘

After much deliberating and many many hours of research and watching your YouTube channel I finally decided to purchase the Traxxas Xmaxxs 8s yesterday. I have just come back from my first blast with the car and have to say a big thankyou to you Kev.
The car is everything you said it was if not more I'm so impressed.
Congratulations on the 1million subscribers mate.

Remember when the Arrma fanboys were saying "RIP Xmaxx" when the 8s Arrmas were announced? That was cute... lol

From my 6 yr old boy who is a massive fan - "Can you do a strength test the XMaxx vs. FTX Tracer? Thank you!" The FTX Tracer is his first hobby grade RC car.

Honestly I'm not too hard of a basher, so I really like the handling characteristics of the outcast 8s. I also like the stock electronics on the outcast 8s. The only thing I'd probably upgrade is the shock shafts and the arms.

I definitely think the X-Maxx is more durable. But the look and stance of the Outcast takes it for me. It may break a little more. But that's just part of the hobby.

I've been binge watching your vids and am seriously at risk for saying "oh oh, what happened!" to any event out of the ordinary in my life now. HAHAHAA

We like the ease of taking the body on and off with the X-Maxx.

I love my Xmaxx. It’s still Virtually unrivaled in my eyes!

Outcast just looks more badass. It's like wearing a pair of Oakleys to the pub over a pair of super cool vintage Rayban Aviators.

The ground clearance on the xmaxx is just way perfect!
On the other one it really looks low
I would take the xmaxxx

I’ve come to the conclusion that you need to stop calling it The skate park, and start calling it The Break Park!! Love your videos Kevin

Well, I don't own neither of them, but I have a Kraton EXB, which they label extreme bashing. I didn't put it through a lot, some jumping of maybe 15 meters if it's much with backflips, landing on grass. I've got like 12-13 batteries through it now, and to be honest I am not impressed. I mean the car is cool, I like driving it a lot. But durabilty wise for what they call extreme bashing it's a joke.
I had the ball joints on the same front axle pop out twice already, two screws bent heavily after a rather small crash on the rear wing, and today was the best: I caught the "Super bash bumper" or however silly they call it on some grass so it was bent backwars a bit. And what happened? The little piece of plastic that connects it to the chassis just broke out. If I want to replace it I need to buy the whole damn front bumper, as that piece of plastic crap is not available as its own spare part. So if you ask me "Arrma tough" is a bad joke. I owned a 2WD traxxas stampede VXL for a year, I already bought it used, and it nearly never failed me. And that so called Extreme Bashing Kraton is breaking on every second or third run, no big things so far (I put LSD's into the rear diff to prevent it from breaking, don't get me started on that topic), but still, I am far from doing extreme stuff with it, and it keeps failing. So for me that was my first and last Arrma, I wanna spent time on the track and not on the workbench paying money for overprized spare parts. I am going to get a tekno MT410, much better worth the money.
So without owning the X-MAXX or the Kraton 8S, I would always go for the X-MAXX, it's a tried and true vehicle, while the Kraton 8S is new, and already fails a lot right there in this Video.

X-Maxx! It's my favorite RC and I'm an RC Plane guy - lol! Thx for the comparison of these two trucks Kev!

I went with the X-MAXX! Part of what I enjoy with the hobby is the engineering and mechanics involved. Just look at them side by side and it's apparent all the thought and design by Traxxas to make the X-MAXX the ultimate basher and it's so simple and easy to work on. Arrma just recycles the same basic chassis design for most all their models. Which seems to work fine for on road stuff but not so much for some extreme bashing. I am still seriously considering picking up an Infraction V2 though.
