Got some good advice on Facebook from someone who has stayed here ‘every year for 14 years’ (Graeme Spence).
He strongly recommends building 5 and says that all rooms have been refurbished including the bathrooms.
Also said that the only thing left is the bottom floor hallway and the lifts which are both scheduled for after Xmas when there’s no guests in this section.

Really enjoy your videos.
We stay here each time we visit, the though not since 2015. We are booked to go back here in September 2022.
Looking forward to the new pool complex. We always stay here as the location and price suits us. Always request the tower as the rooms are bigger there, at least the ones we have had. House keeping has always been an issue from when it was holiday inn, right through. But I always inform reception at check in that I won’t tolerate filth and can say that they have always gone the extra mile after that. Start as you mean to go on I say. It’s difficult to say at the start and your in a great mood for your holiday, but a quiet word by dad at the start works in my opinion.

Avanti is great, i've been there for a couple of times, always plenty of space around the swimming Pool and at the parking. When i visit avanti, i ask especially an upper level room in the tower. When it's getting dark outside the view over the international drive is amazing.

You are awesome! We are planning a trip before a cruise and usually stay in the Daytona area, but are options to pre cruise in Orlando and I REALLY appreciated

Looks like a decent hotel in a good location, also sounds like pot luck with room allocation, I’m guessing if there’s any problems then they’ll either move you or fix the problem, I definitely wouldn’t stay anywhere with broken locks on the door.

Great review we are staying here 2020 and have booked with Ocean Florida so will see what we will get. I will request building 5 now.

Any chance you could review Hard Rock Hotel at Universal? We have booked here for two nights too!

This review makes the hotel look great, but my room was full of ROACHES. The room is covered in mold and the staff did absolutely nothing about it. So gross.
