Quebec drivers crossing into Ottawa to save on gas prices

Quebec drivers are heading to Ottawa to fill up their gas tanks and save money. Prices at the pump are noticeably lower on the Ontario side, and some Gatineau residents say the short drive is worth it.

Ford also reduced the Ontario Tax on gasoline during Covid. When Covid ended, he advised that he would not increase the tax but leave it as a discount.

There is also a sell off of winter formulae gas to make room for summer gas.

In Cambridge Ontario it went from 1.53 per litre to 1.14 per litre with the carbon tax removed. That's 40 dollars per tank I've been getting ripped off. And for what ? 2000 dollars per year
Just for gasoline and the rebate was 450 dollars. Liberals make me sick.

And in Toronto, the prices are bouncing between 1.15 & 1.35, oil companies are taking advantage and padding the bottom line.

I would definitely gas up outside Quebec if I was close enough like in Gatineau or closer to any bordering town. Legault seems to need our money to pay for all his mistakes and lousy investments that didn’t pay off
