If you See someone struggling on a problem, always tell him that the next hold is a good one, even if you have no clue

Climbers don’t shake hands because the counteracting force of both insane grip strengths would probably break reality

rule number 12: when a big group is trying a difficult boulder you have to do the boulder as well.

That last rule is actually amazing.

“No one cares if you’re bad. They only care if you don’t try”

Don't forget chalking up after you've chalked up.

"the beta sprayer should also not be able to send the climb as well" haha that's golden

You missed the rule of bragging how much downsizing you went on your new pair of shoes. Great vid!

If you see someone brush the holds of a climb, wait till they have their go. Don't climb it after they've brushed it. Unless they are brushing it for you because you're the cute girl climbing the V2 in the corner.
Ask before giving any advice. Then give it sparingly. Unless you say 'wanna work this climb with me?' in which case you then discuss the climb.

Totally agree that not getting a climb is because the holds were too slippery, wrong shoes, not enough skin, humidity, etcetera. It is never a lack of skill or effort. ha.

Great video. Totally enjoyed it.

Something I do a lot: telling frustrated climbers that I struggled on that boulder as well

Never forget: climbing exclusively in shirts with your gym's logo/art will improve your technique by 100% and makes anything you do look cool.

rule 12; always talk about the latest injury in smalltalk

rule 13; try to get everyone you know into bouldering and invite them for a session

rule 14; drink beer after the session, it has electrolytes
(thats what we tell each other)

rule 15; having your own customized waterbottle with you

rule 16; always keep your shoes outside the backpack so they dont stench your bag, and everyone knows how cool you are

rule 17; look at your skin and fondle with it after failing an attempt

rule 18; brush holds for other people to be a chad

rule 19; spot the cute girl when she is doing an overhang for no reason

rule 20; if possible, campus the pink one in the corner

rule 21; always share your opinion on grades

rule 22; when somebody sends something and has nobody to share his accomplishment with, fist that dude /dudette, and share the stoke

great video, only one correction/addition, in austria i have heard allez, vai, vamos but most famously and my most used phrase is "come on".

Another quick rule I learned the hard way: always brush the route if you can't flash it. Brushing is like chalk, it solves all your climbing related problems... (or at least makes you look like less of a beginner)
Fantastic/accurate video bro :)

if a group of new climbing is sending a route they cant complete, you must always flash that route and walk away without saying anything

Also: "if you don't scream while trying hard, you are not trying hard enough."

rule number 12: Always say "Nice" when you see someone stick a hold they'd been struggling to reach. Be sure to add extras I's and !'s depending on how long it took to reach. 2 pumps to stick? That's a 2-i "Niice!" 5+ pumps/tries to stick, that's at least 3 !'s "Nice!!!"

My friends pointed out that if I could send a route I'd call it fun, but if I couldn't do it yet I'd describe it as interesting instead. Anyone else do this?

If you are having trouble with a route you step back and “analyze” it for like 5 minutes (or while other people do it) but for half that time your looking at the chalky callouses on your hands

Rule 12: dont steal a freshly brushed route (brushed by someone else that is)
rule 13: downgrade harder climbs you barely finished ... "dude. softest V6 EVAAAAH"
rule 14: the climbing to socializing ratio MUST NEVER be lower than 1 to 5

also. in germany we must be really bad for breaking rule #3. most of us say "komm schon" or "auf gehts" (come on / lets go)
