Not only is she funny, relatable, and humble (despite being raised by the music icon Diana Ross, who is also my favorite!) Her style is also iconic, dynamic, and uniquely hers. In this video I explore her style and break down what lessons we can take from the icon. I use examples, show pictures, and reference news articles in which she talked about her ideas about fashion and style.

I think that it is important to be able to take cues about fashion and style from other people. Whether it be an actor, fashion blogger, or a family friend. Getting inspiration from other people can truly be useful as you navigate the journey of trying to find your own style. While taking cues and being inspired by someone style can be a useful tool in your toolbox on your style journey, it’s also important that you take that inspiration and make it fit your individual style. My signature is ALWAYS luxury sunglasses. I wear sunglasses EVERYDAY EVERY SEASON! Like ANna Wintour! Black oversized shades. Also Tracee’s hair is fabulous. And for me can’t leave the house without a good bag. Shades & a bag are part of my signature look!!

Great content! I love that you spotlighted Tracee Ellis Ross. Her style is so unique! I absolutely love her style because I love color. I always say that style is subjective and true style is when you can look like “you” and look fabUlously you! Ladies who exude confidence in their fashion can put on a paper bag and make heads turn. I can be in my little bubble and feel great too, I’m so introverted! Hey Sis! You truly made my morning with this video. She is also my style inspiration and had a lot of influence on my style over the years. I love a good oversized statement clutch because of her. She is amazing! Over the years I've had so many style influences. As a teenager, I was totally inspired by Aaliyah...from the hair to oversized clothes to the dark shades. Totally me!
