“Work re-imagines the familiar image of people commuting to work as a moving portrait.

This video is the result of the hard work and collaboration of many intelligent, strong and compassionate women, genderqueer and trans folks close to Charlotte, myself and our crew, who invited their friends, family and complete strangers to come together in support of one another with love, warmth and hope." - F F

I had just driven 20hours and 45minutes straight to spend some time with a friend in the hopes of bringing her home.
As we lay in bed that first night listening to music and catching up;
this song comes on.
Neither of us hearing it before.
We listened to it twice,
it instantly became our song.
Fast forward 4years, we now run a small business together, have a two and a half year old child
(working on another) and I often find myself back here listening to this song..
🙏💚🌻

“I didn’t notice at the time but Jules was falling in love”

this song reminds me when I would get super high on like 5 different drugs (2cb, coke, molly, weed, alchool, cigarrets, meth) in college a lot and I didnt care if I lived. the drugs finally caught up and I almost died. Im 5 months sober with a heart problem but man listening to this gives me a feeling I cant describe. god bless

I relate this song a lot to my mental health. I listen to it as a reminder that I need to consistently work on my mental health and build strong habits to avoid falling into a bad mental state. It means a lot to me, thank you

Can you imagine this was our reality before Corona? People on the subway without masks and so close to each other 😩

It takes work to fall in love. I like the context in which the song was put into, when Jules was consistently in contact with Nate and I see it as a reminder that if I want to experience love again, I have to put myself out there, I have to open up even if it means to risk getting hurt- you can’t expect love without pain.
Perhaps it’s just me, but after getting out of a relationship, it took me a long time to start dating again, it felt like so much work, I couldn’t keep up with any conversation, I was too comfortable being alone. This song is helpful

I got into a really bad car accident, walked out of the car pressed up against trees. I’m starting from the bottom again, mentally, financially and somewhat physically. This song makes me think of working hard to get to that point of freedom again

It's gonna take a bit of work
Oh-oh, work
Now that you're here
Whoa-oh, work

'Cause people come and go
But I think you should know
That I
I think this will work

Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh

It's gonna take a little time
But with you by my side
I won't let go
'Til I've got what's mine

'Cause people come and go
But you should know
That I, that I
I'll take it slow

Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh ooh, ooh-ooh

It's gonna take a bit of work
Oh-oh, work
Now that you're here
Whoa-oh, work
It's gonna take a bit of work
Oh-oh, work
Now that you're here
Whoa-oh, work

I listened to this song leading up to & during my labour. I had a beautiful home birth with candlelights, massages and romantic slow dancing. It was a spiritual and primal experience. I will never forget it and this song will always remind me of my strength & blessings.

Whats crazy is everyones faces match their clothes and you can just tell everyone’s different vibes. Not necessarily their storys but you can feel in their eyes what theyve been through.

Anybody see her live? I seen her open for local natives in Milwaukee. The crowd was shit, talking thru her set, really inattentive. Her and the band really won me over, i had to have the album.

It's crazy how we all have such different lives, duties, goals, and problems we have to deal with everyday. Everyday you just have to keep on working, but it's always okay to take a break in this hyper competitive world we live in. Live your life because it's the only life you will live came from euphoria now I'm obsessed :)
